NYC skate juggernaut Supreme unveils its apparel for the Fall/Winter 2015 season. It’s business as usual for the brand, who reveal a broad and eclectic mix of garments paying homage to ’90s New York in all its glory – whether its via ostentatious sportswear pieces or faux fur straight from the back of a fake Rolex salesman. Corduroy, mohair, argyle patterns and faux fur pieces like the ones in your grandad’s wardrobe sit side-by-side with Supreme’s ever-reliable branded sweaters, headwear and tees – with the iconic box logo sweater being reissued as a crewneck rather than hoodie this time around.
Supreme’s longtime collaborators – Schott, Playboy and Champion – all make an appearance, with a leather puffer jacket sporting an allover print of Hugh Heffner’s legendary bunny rabbit logo marking a particularly brash highlight. Elsewhere, E.T. shows his face on T-shirts and sweaters.
The collection will no doubt be met with a frenzied response from Supreme’s cult fan base, and we can expect an impressive rollout of collaborations throughout the season, too – so stay tuned for further information as it’s made available.
Look for Supreme’s Fall/Winter 2015 collection to drop on August 22 at the brand’s NY, LA and London locations, while those of us in Japan can look forward to the first drop on August 22. The online store, meanwhile, will reopen on August 27. Check out the seasonal lookbook for more.
